Il Lithodora diffusa Star è un piccolo sottarbusto tappezzante dal portamento rilassato, ricoperto di magnifici fiori bicolore, blu e bianchi a forma di stella, che sbocciano da maggio a giugno.

Questa varietà molto originale presenta fiori a tromba stellati, blu e bianchi, che si susseguono per diverse settimane. Il suo fogliame vellutato, semi-persistente è di un bel verde scuro. Il Lithodora Star è il compagno ideale delle brughiere perché ha praticamente le stesse esigenze, ma si adatta anche a mezz'ombra preferibilmente o al sole nei terreni poveri e drenanti delle piante come lini, tulipani botanici o artemisie tappezzanti.
